Tagetes - Marigold often called - is a very popular summer flower. The plants are suitable for high-contrast design of flower beds and Balkonkösten. Tagetes are available in numerous flower colors. The height is about 20 cm to 60 cm. They are very sturdy plants with very striking flowers of yellow to dark red. There are very delicate flowers, but also very large flower shapes.


Tagetes to end of April sown directly into the garden or are preferred, but the end of March in the (room) greenhouse. Enjoy the garden owners into a lush flowering throughout the summer to late autumn.


The seeds can be obtained from the flowers. Dried flowers will be removed from the plant to do so as rainless days and stored dry until next spring.
